Take your taste buds on a world tour at Global Grooves 2018. This free event, to be held Saturday, October 27, will feature an amazing array of 30 food vendors offering the flavours of the world. From Indian, Filipino, German, Italian and Thai to Pakistani, Maltese, Fijian and Chinese — there will be something exciting that will tantalise your tastes.
Add a program of global music and dance running from 3pm to 8pm and a fireworks finale, and you have an amazing evening out for the whole family. This year’s headline band, Babash, deliver a distinctly Caribbean performance full of fun and colour with music straight from the streets of the world’s best party – Trinidad’s Carnival! They won’t rest until the dance floor is full and grooving!
The Queens Park location will also feature market stalls and interactive workshops held under the beautiful teepee. These will include African drumming and a local indigenous artist doing dot painting
